Good grief, have you really all failed [fallen] so soon?

I never really intended on speaking about the "theatre" so quickly, though it seems that you're all rather desperate [dying] to reside in it, aren't you?

I, of course, didn't think that the will of the theatre would have to be elaborated on, but it seems that you're not quite aware of the effect that God has upon you. I can't say that I really expected you to understand [face] my metaphors [mockery], but you could at least make the effort.

Cyclical speaking has always been a favourite of mine. It's a way to avoid the hold [embrace] of the theatre. You must understand that my metaphors are [is] in good taste! Martyrs both stronger and weaker than you could ever realize have lost themselves [the will to live] within the illusions of the theatre. It has that interesting effect on people, and has since the beginning of this "conflict". Perhaps it has since the beginning of history, but that is a story [confession] for another day.

I myself, do not follow your God, nor am I followed by him. It's a poignant relation based on necessity [proactivity], and as such do not reside in his theatre. Who did you think it belonged to, my dear reader? Surely, not I; for I am what, aside from a respectful spectator, making metaphors based on the martyrs that have fallen, a fool who speaks in riddles and impenetrable stories? Each and every one of you has stood on the stage [gallows] of the theatre, speaking in nonsense [pleas] no more useful than what I say now...

The first Actor was the maniac, who desired an admirable goal, but looked for what they could never find, running away [towards] from the very "truth" that they had looked for. "Where did it [I] go? Where did you [they] go?" That was the kind of questions that the first Actor often shouted out to the world, only to fall into darkness when they looked at what they found.

Their stage in the theatre was one of co-operation [scorn] and openness [misinformation], and every single supporting character was projected upon and blamed [made not at fault] for their every misstep. The first Actor, you see, saved [delayed] people from the inevitable, but was not preoccupied with the guilt they may receive in the process.

"How can you give up so easily?"

"How can you allow things like this to be done?"

Those are the kind of questions the first Actor would ask.

I will speak plainly [truthfully] in regards to the second act of this production.

Humanity, despite their idealizations and façades that they present to others, can not ultimately deal with even slightly pure intentions. Ultimately, a martyr will always fall into infamy for what they innocently ask of others. When people vanish from sight, they do not want to be found.

And so when their Hero, their martyr, searched [hunted] for what they were looking for beneath grimy bridges and graffiti-lined walls, through dark alleyways and abandoned buildings, their figurehead found nothing, and all the while their followers did not realize that they were making a monster [ruin] of a man. So they kept walking.

Because, in reality, the first Actor's motivations were selfish [human], and as they slowly fell from grace, well, who would ever answer their cries for help [salvation]? They became twisted [childish] while gazing into what they suspected [feared] to be the "truth". Slowly, their sanity [identity] began to unravel, all while they continued to run, waking up in a different place than where they slept [stopped].

-The city may be full of lies, but it has always been loyal to the wishes of the damned. However, granted wishes doesn't guarantee happiness.-

And so the first Actor remembered the "truth" that they searched for. The "truth" that they so desperately wanted to forget.

Railway crossings don't always mean new beginnings.

As for what the "truth" that the Hero searched for... well, you should know what it is by now, shouldn't you?

And so the first Actor was shunned and forgotten, and the second Actor took to the stage of the theatre...
